THE DESIGN
The SHRM Millonarios x Adidas 21/22 Asado Shorts are a limited release of just 10 pieces. It combines the instantly recognisable retro look synonymous with adidas and the unique style of a Shoreham-Ender.

The shorts' name derives from the Argentinian equivalent of a pre-match chip butty. "Asado", which translates literally as "roast", is barbecued and enjoyed in the sun with a beer - the same way we’d like you to treat these shorts.

Featuring our popular SHRM emblem in the form of a woven crest, as well as the classic linear adidas logo and our signature "FAR & WIDE ©" motto - executed in a typeface resembling Argentina's most popular beer - Quilmes - who famously sponsored both Buenos Aires clubs in the 1990's.

WE ARE RIVER BLADES
We do, of course, have links with River, starting with United's tours of Latin America in 1966 and '67. Eleven years later, the transfer of the Argentinean player Alejandro Sabella from River to United was completed, before River Plate travelled to Bramall Lane for a friendly in August of that year.

Fun Fact: River fans refer to their city rival Boca as... "los chanchitos"... English translation? Little pigs! 🐽
